What the Synergy Program is

It's a 4 to 5 hour webinar that aims to help you gain and succeed in your interview for Internationally-Trained Dentistry Programs.

What the Synergy Program is not

The program is not an automatic acceptance into the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Further, it is not a pathway to licensure.

The success of the Synergy Program depends on evidence-driven and proven strategies to improve your application to dental school. Our original , in-person program included hands-on clinical training on infection control, dental instrumentation and practice interviews – all of these are complicated under COVID restrictions.

After considering these problems from every angle, we decided to offer an abbreviated, one-day Synergy Zoom Meeting. Being so brief, we were not be able to cover every topic in our traditional in-person Synergy program, however, we reached hundreds of people instead of just ten. Therefore, we have moved Synergy to a virtual meeting and it is absolutely free of charge.

When: Monday, June 10, 2024, 12 pm-4 pm Eastern Time (US and Canada)
Topic: Synergy Program for Foreign Trained Dentists

You must register in advance for this meeting.

Topics include:

  1. How to structure your CV and personal statement

  2. Practice interviews for a few volunteers

  3. Q&A session with foreign-trained dentists who are working as dentists in the United States

- Muna Hakim, BDS, MBA

“Dr. Nalliah worked with me one-on-one on improving my personal statement and CV. We also practiced interviews skills and this year I was accepted into two U.S. dental programs.”
— Zainab Rawi, BDS
Dr. Nalliah, your personal advice was good enough to help me get into the international program at UCLA so I’m sure this course will be very helpful to other international applicants.
— Chiraag Parekh, BDS
